CROISSET THERMOPLASTICS ENGINEERING, S.L. mainly works with polyurethane (PUR) and polybutadiene (PB), one of our specialties is combining thermoplastics and elastomers.
Elastomers are materials that are chemically bonded to each other to form a crosslinked structure. They have great elasticity, flexibility, insoluble, gasify before melting and react with certain solvents. They are divided into thermosetting elastomers, which do not deform or melt when heated, and thermoplastic elastomers with very different thermal properties. Rubber, polyurethane, polybutadiene, neoprene, and silicone belong to the family of elastomers.
